How do I know you are safe working with my child?

We both have Enhanced CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) certificates. We have gone through the same checks as the teachers at your child's school. We are happy to send you a copy of our Enhanced CRB certificate.

What areas do you cover?

We currently cover the North West of England - Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside, North Wales., North Derbyshire. We do travel a little further afield for larger parties, but please contact us for details as we may have to include a small mileage charge.

Due to the number of enquiries we are now getting from all over the UK, we are now happy to travel anywhere!

Who else sees the photographs?

We do not release any photographs to any one except the people attending each party. No Exceptions. We do however ask if we can use some images on our web site for advertising. All the images you see here have been released in this way.

What happens to the photos after the party?

We keep copies of the photographs on archive DVD’s for 12 months. The DVD’s are kept securely. After the 12 months are up, the DVD’s are destroyed by shredding.

My daughter is worried about getting spots before the party.

Don't worry, even the professional models get spots! We can remove these quite easily when preparing your photos for the CD.

Are you insured?

Yes, we both carry full public liability insurance.

We normally require a space around 2m x 3m. We usually find that a dining room or lounge is suitable. We can set up in conservatories, but due to the amount of natural light which we can’t control, it’s not our preferred room. We will however, do our best to block out with backdrops if it is the only room available to you.

In good weather we can also shoot some of the photo outdoors in your garden using the elements of the garden as a backdrop. Obviously this is very weather dependant!

Our party is not at home but at another venue, can you still take photographs?

Yes, we can. We can hold a photo shoot in most venues.

What do we need to supply?

Just costumes and makeup. That's it! Of course, a lot of parties are combined with sleep overs, so a few fizzy drinks and nibbles usually go down well with the party guests!

Can we play music?

Yes ....as loud as you like ......... both Simon & Mark have ear plugs!

What do you need to set up?

Just a 13A socket, we bring all our own extension leads, stands, backdrops. A cup of tea would be nice!

Why don't you provide prints?

We get asked this quite a lot. We decided to offer the model photo experience without prints simply to keep the cost to you as low as we could. We didn't like the way some studios would hide the cost of the prints, then when you wanted to order your photo's found they were charging £30 or more per print.

Can you provide prints?

Yes we can. Just ask us for a price list. We think we are very competitive!

Why do we provide photos on CD?

In the digital world of today, there are so many new ways to display your photos. At Spotlight Party we're so proud of the images we take, we believe they shouldn't be limited to just prints.

By providing photos to you digitally, they can be used in digital photo frames, on your mobile phone, your mp3 player, your my space or facebook web site and so on. And with digital technology moving forward rapidly, your images will always be available for whatever new development is around the corner.

Of course if you would also like us to provide prints or perhaps a canvas or indeed any one of a number of photo gift items, then please let us know. We'd be happy to get these for you at very competitive prices.

We sure do, for adults what about a “Ultimate Girls Night In” and we also cover corporate parties and family parties! Ask for details.
